If the site has more interactive features like forms, newsletters, scheduling, payment gateways, those run through software that has a subscription to work each year.

The current posted annual fees are the lowest I could arrange. After year two, the fees may rise due to normal inflation from the providers.

I enjoy design work. I taught it for 25 years and would do design work for friends and family for free. Now that I am retired, I am in a little need of income, just a little. 1. the features your website should have,
2. the content (visuals and words), and
3. the look and feel for the site (do you have branding?).

I draft a contract for us to sign. You provide a deposit, your logo, any pictures and/or videos, and copy (words). No worries if you need help. I can provide visuals or copy at an added fee. We secure a domain name or gain me access to one you may have already. I design and produce a website that looks terrific, meeting your wants and needs. You’ll be sent a link to see the working draft for me to edit and revise if need be. If the site includes a blog/news section, I will train you how to add updates to that portion of the site on your own. If you have custom email, I will configure it on your computer or device. Upon completion of the site, the remainder of the fee is due before the site goes live. There will be yearly fees to keep it running and hold the domain name and related email account/s.
